Located at 18 Makri Street, Agrinio. Built in 1960. It is a seven-storey building that housed the offices of the EU and, at the same time, there were tobacco storage and processing rooms. Processing sites were operational until the end of the 1970s. Since then, the EU has rented other storehouses for the treatment of its tobacco.  In the basement of the building there is a recognized wartime shelter.

On the ground floor, in a 700sq.m. hall where the mechanical equipment and the small archive were temporarily stored before the demolition of Panagopoulou storehouses (2004). EU machinery and equipment have been divested to Koutsompos SA. Today, the building belongs to the Ministry of Agriculture, which has granted a site in the Prefecture for the operation of a Tobacco Directorate

Other EU tobacco storehouses

Rupakia Agrinion (on the way to Nea Avorani). It is a 3-storey building, with an area of ​​3,000 sq.m. the floor was used only as tobacco storage facilities.

After the dissolution of the National Tobacco Agency, they were leased to the Panagopoulou Brothers company as storage facilities.

Lepeno Valtos. It is a two storey building with an area of ​​3,000 sq.m. The floor was used for tobacco storage.

Others were rented out to several companies.
